Pedestrian Awareness – Mobile Equipment

Program Objectives:

To identify the general hazards for pedestrians associated with lift trucks, cranes and aerial work platforms

Program Content:

- The Occupational Health and Safety Act and the legal requirement for using lifting equipment
- Understanding the different kinds of material handling equipment
- Safe operating practices for pedestrians

Suggested Participants:

Pedestrians, supervisors, group leaders, and health & safety committee members.

Program Duration: 2 hours (includes a quiz)
