The purpose of this training is to understand when risk assessments are necessary and the methods required for conducting machine risk assessments
Program Content:
- Risk assessment and hazard analysis
- Principles of machine safety
- Types of hazards and suitable safeguards
- Strategy for selecting safety measures
- Suitable safeguards and lockout
Suggested Participants:
Machinery operators, supervisors, maintenance workers, safety committee members who will conduct machine risk assessments
Program Duration: 4 hours (maximum group size is 20)
